These are the ground rules for ordering from Island Cannabis Co. They’re short and in plain English. By placing an order or creating an account, you agree to them. Questions? Email us at admin@islandcannabis.co.
Who can order
You must be 19 or older. We check valid government photo ID on every delivery, and we can’t hand an order to anyone who can’t show it, or to anyone underage.
Orders and prices
- Prices are in Canadian dollars. The price you pay is the one shown at checkout when you place your order.
- We do our best to keep stock and prices up to date. If something you ordered turns out to be unavailable, or a price was clearly a mistake, we’ll contact you before delivery to sort it out, and you won’t be charged for anything you don’t receive.
- We may cancel an order we can’t fill or deliver, for example if the address is outside our area.
Payment
Payment is cash on delivery. Please have your cash ready when your order arrives.
Delivery
- Where: anywhere on Prince Edward Island within 30 km (as the crow flies) of Province House in downtown Charlottetown.
- Fees and minimums depend on distance, and checkout shows yours before you order: up to 8 km, free on orders of $50 or more (otherwise $5); 8 to 15 km, $10 with a $50 minimum; 15 to 20 km, $15 with a $90 minimum; 20 to 30 km, $20 with a $140 minimum. Minimums apply to your total after any reward.
- When: Monday to Saturday, 2 pm to about 7:30 pm. You pick a date and time at checkout. Most orders arrive within an hour of the time you choose, but on busy days delivery can take up to 3 hours, so please be ready from the time you pick.
- Missed deliveries: let us know as soon as you can and we’ll book a new time. Redelivery is charged as a second delivery fee on top of the first, or $5 if your delivery was free.
Returns
Get in touch if you have a faulty cartridge, an unopened product you’d like to return, or a product that’s faulty or not up to standard, and we’ll see what we can do. Returns, exchanges and credits are at our discretion and aren’t guaranteed.
Your account
Keep your password to yourself, and one account per person, please. You’re responsible for orders placed from your account. We may close accounts that are used to break these terms.
Rewards
- Signed-in customers earn 1 point for every dollar spent on products (after discounts), added once the order is delivered. Every 65 points is $5 off, up to $5 for every $20 in your cart.
- New accounts get 50 welcome points with their first delivered order, once per person.
- Points have no cash value and can’t be transferred. If an order is cancelled or refunded, the points it earned are taken back and any points spent on it are returned.
- We may adjust points that were earned by mistake or by misuse, and we may change the program. Points never expire, and if we ever end the program we’ll give you notice so you can use what you have.
Using our products
Please use cannabis responsibly: start low, go slow, keep it away from kids and pets, and never drive high. Our Learn guides are general information, not medical advice.
